5.0 out of 5 stars Gorgeous and addictive! 27 Oct 2009
Format:Paperback
I love this book - the robots are adorable and easy to make with only a basic knowledge of crochet. Lots of people have admired the crobots I've made and I'm steadily working my way through the book. They're great for a little weekend project :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Another nice amugurumi's book 22 July 2009
By Miki
Format:Paperback
In this case I don't like all the amigurumis shown in the book, but most of them are cute.
In this book, the level of difficulty is marked with cogwheels going from 1, for easy, to 4, for skilled.
Some of this little robots are really original and you can always give them your personal touch.
The instructions are very clear and easy to follow and there is a little tutorial on crochet at the beginning, so if it's your first time you won't be lost and will know what they're talking about all the time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Crobots Review. 5 May 2009
By Tracibub - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This is my third Amigurumi book, the first was Amigurumi World: Seriously Cute Crochet, and the second was Creepy Cute Crochet: Zombies, Ninjas, Robots, and More!. I find this to be a happy middle between the two. The first has incredibly easy instructions, and the latter is fairly complicated in pattern reading, and the addition of eyes/accessories (for me). This is pretty easy instructions, and is less complicated with the accessories you add on after you've crocheted the pieces. I would argue with some of the author's notes on difficulty (they're rated from easiest to most difficult), but that is probably more a matter of personal taste. Not a GREAT book for a beginner, but if you are dying to make these as your first projects, you could get by alright. Lots of accessories to buy to make these patterns as shown, also. They're still dead cute, though!

2.0 out of 5 stars Shoddy editing ruins potentially good book. 3 July 2009
By Amigurumi Gal - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Although Nelly's designs are inventive and original, shodding editing results in patterns with errors such as the Zombiebot that requires instructs you to make two heads, two bodies and four arms and legs. This book seems as if it was rushed passed the editor to be sold.

In addition, please disregard the first 9 "customer photos" as those are in fact, characters exactly out of the book used for photography. I don't believe they adequately show customer results; rather author results with the book.

Please note, as the author states - these robots are not child friendly and all safety caution should be taken before giving them to small children as they contain loose screws, nails and pins.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Fun... 17 Mar 2009
By Jennifer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I think that this book is excellent. I'm new to the whole amigurumi craft, but the projects in this book are adorable! The instructions are quite clear and easy to follow. I would recommend it to anyone. There are instructions for each step, as well as instructions on how to get started crocheting, even if you have never done it before.
