I discovered this booklet when I was asked to read and review it's sister: Kings and Queens, for the Amazon Vine programme. Castles have always held a fascination for me, and, although this book doesn't cover all the castles in Britain, the ones it does review are accurate and well worth the money. Take it with you when exploring various castles throughout the country and you won't be disappointed, the information contained is short, but to the point. I'm hoping other ones will join the series.
