Shocking, surprisingly 16 April 2010
By J. D. White TOP 1000 REVIEWER
While this isn't exactly uplifting tv, it's one of the most in-depth crime documentaries i have seen. Obviously not to everyone's tastes, but if you're in to forensics, crime investigation or just quite fancy something a bit disturbing, then this dvd is a must have

I was really looking forward to seeing these crimes in more detail but found it lacking on all the people, we see the crime but not the in depth background on each as I thought this would be about.
The information was not much more than the papers gave at the time of the crimes, a bit of background on Harold Shipman that I did not know but that's about it.
They missed a lot of details on Lesly Allit, especially the child victims who survived, more information on those that she left brain damaged again not in the film but in the papers at the time, if you did not know the facts this would leave people thinking that the ones who lived were all OK, and this is not so.
All in all disappointed

Good Viewing! 30 Jan 2012
Just a quick review for any one thinking of purchasing! 6 episodes on 2 dvds, all 45 min long. Wouldnt say that it went into massive detail of all the storys but still plenty info and very interesting. All storys are re-acted but still real footage shown and good interviews with the people involved. Cant complain with what you get at this price .... Buy it!
