this pack of TWO elegant, lidded STONEWARE soup bowls/bean pots, in 'GRANITE GREY', from Le Creuset.

Capacity - 0.5L (each one)

Sturdily boxed and supplied in a LE CREUSET cardboard sleeve with full STONEWARE care/use instructions.

Great to serve soup in - the lids help to keep the contents hot, but they are an equally stunning presentation for a mixed vegetable rice with a knob of butter melting over the top!
When we have a number of guests, the large version Le Creuset Bean Pot, 3.8L comes out, too!

An ambitious friend makes individual soufflés in his set of six - all in different colours.........another bakes a tasty pastry-topped meat and vegetable casserole in her pair.

n.b. These STONEWARE dishes CANNOT be used on the stove-top.

I have these "bean pots" (soup bowls/mini-casserole dishes) in granite as that matches my kitchen but I'll soon be buying some more in different colours as I'd like to have a full set to entertain a large group. I've used them to serve soup in (i.e. cooked in a pan and then just served in the pots) and also to cook individual casseroles in. When cooking for one, getting the portions right can be a pain, but with these, I just make a bunch of mini-casseroles in these (e.g. 1 lamb shank in each pot), cook them right through, cool them down and then freeze them. I can then take them out of the freezer at a later date, pop them into a cold oven and heat them up and then eat from the same pot - how great is that? They look beautiful and sit proudly on my shelf along with their big brother, the 4L bean pot.
