ROUND 22 cm COCOTTE - Capacity - 3.3L

n.b. This review is not actually a duplication.
It is for the SATIN BLACK version of the 22 cm ROUND Cocotte - which does vary from the others, due to the stainless steel knob - which is heatproof to 230°C (but don't forget your Le Creuset Double Oven Glove!)

Although posted separately the Amazon system has both 'ALMOND' and 'SATIN BLACK' appearing under the same item reference, and the products do differ.

REVIEW for 'LE CREUSET' ROUND CASSEROLE 22cm in SATIN BLACK

Boxed, complete with full care and use leaflet.

This versatile Casserole Dish/Cocotte/French Oven is ideal for all sorts of recipes.
My favourite is a spaghetti bolognese sauce - use it on the hob to soften up the vegetables, add the stock and other ingredients .....then leave it to simmer on the ring, or transfer to the oven, if baking your accompaniments.
Or.........if looking for inspiration..... Sue Cutts, one of the Le Creuset consultants, has a delicious recipe for this sized cocotte:-

'Simple Vegetable and Saffron Rice'/serving 6-8

on page 21 of her book entitled:-

`The Cast Iron Way to Cook'.
