Our grandmother used to make the best pancakes, ever - on the hot plate on her cooker and this is the next best thing to achieving a similar result!

Cast iron is ideal for steady, even heat distribution and helps stop overcooking the edges of the pancake before the middle is done!
The satin black enamel interior forms its own `patina' (non-stick coating) in due course.
Angled handle.
Dishwasher safe (although Le Creuset do recommend hand washing).

Complete with an 8-inch wood crepe-dough spreader.
