Pluma is an extraordinary fin that makes the most of a sophisticated moulding technology previously used only on the hi-tech models designed specifically for free diving and scuba diving. In fact, it uses the same Cressi patented construction system of moulding in 3 different materials to get high performance, extreme lightness and easy kicking, and astonishing comfort. The blade is made from light and at the same time reactive polypropylene, with a very energetic and snappy rebound. Two side supporting grooves and other ribbing on the bottom of the blade guarantee progressive and controlled bending. The result is powerful and fluid, untiring kicking, just like a fin in this category should provide. The foot housing extends right along the bottom of the blade to guarantee high protection during kicking even in shallow water and near rocks and suchlike. It is made from soft thermo-rubber and the computer-designed shape offers great comfort as well as making them suitable for long use. The entire sole is hard and comes with large non-slip inserts, both for total protection of the foot and for excellent transmission of the leg-fin effort. A brand-new construction technology of futuristic rotating, dual-injection moulds means two different materials can be moulded at the same time, keeping production costs to a minimum, to the advantage of an unbeatable price-quality ratio

I'd tried many pairs of fins before settling for this pair. They are very comfortable and have a great trainer style bottom which is great for when I'm training around the pool side. The raised side ridge has helped to reduce scratches, after having them for a couple of months now they still look new.
I'm normally a size 6/7 but had to get a 4/5 in these!
My wife is an experienced snorkeller, and needed to replace her old fins. These Cressi Pluma Fins looked to be good, and were comfortable, but both split on their first outing where the foot meets the fins. They have been replaced by Amazon (FOC, thanks Amazon), but I am sure that these replacements will do the same again. My tip is to avoid the Pluma fins.
I purchased these fins for a recent snorkeling trip. I was away for 9 days and used them about a dozen times in lite to moderate seas. They have cracked and split where the toes meet the clear plastic and I am quite certain that with a little more use they will completely break in two. Very poor quality indeed and to be avoided.
These fins have been used 3 times for a total of less than one hour. They have been used for gentle exercise in swimming pool and one fin has cracked right the way across between the black foot support and the yellow and the other fin is just starting to crack. This is not the life I expected from a product at this price.
For the price you are getting an excellent pair of fins, with good colors, durable, excellent material, they are made to last, so you can do your snorkeling as usual, cressi is a good brand, sometimes a little pricey but i feel this are just great.
