Stephen King and George A. Romero reunite for the sequel to the horror classic 'Creepshow'. The sequel offers only three stories this time around and the higher budget shows. It was the low budget of the first movie that gave it its raw appeal but something seems to be missing from Creepshow 2. The first tale, 'Old Cheif Woodenhead' is a dire affair about a wooden staue of an indian that comes to life to avenge the death of the shopkeeper who owns him. 'The Raft' is a better story where a gang of teenagers take a trip to the lake and are hounded by an oil slick. The last story, 'The Hitch-Hiker' is definately the best. An unfaithful woman is traveling back to her husband when she has an encounter with a hitch-hiker that just refuses to die.
The wrap-around animated story is about a boy who is bullied by the local tearaways until he gets his revenge with an item he purchased from the comic he loves... Creepshow.
Definately worth owning as it is a well acted movie but it pales in comparison to the original.
At £5.99, you cannot afford to miss out on the sequel to the greatest film ever made.
