I've just bought this speakers today before doing any research. Was intentinally wanted to buy a smaller set from Sony Ericsson to use as my traveling speakers for my coming holiday. The shop's salesperson recomended this set and let me try on spot with my K750i handphone, and I must say it's really out of my expectation.
I'm a buyer for my company PC accessories, have bought many pairs or larger PC desktop speakers ranged from 2.0 / 2.1 to 7.1, and found that this small little chic can even out perform some bigger size 2.0 desktop speakers. The clarity is very good, only except the bass which you shouldn't expect it the same from a sub woofer, and I've heard a lot of worse 2.1 speakers.
It doesn't come with any power adapter but you can easily buy any conventional 5w adapter with the correct polarity. This cute little set is lying at my baby's room while I'm not travelling, it's really made both of us sleep faster with the sweet sound, which is even better than my wireless speakers from Pioneer Home theatre system.

The Creative TravelSound 250 speakers are a great little travel speaker for plugging your mp3 player in, especially in the car.
But, i would like to correct an earlier review which states that the black version of these speakers comes with a DC adaptor. This is not the case. I sell both the white & black versions and can state that these speakers are battery powered only. They are not designed to be mains powered as they are supposed to be travel speakers.

These have just arrived from Amazon about half an hour ago, and within five minutes they were playing excellent sound. They come with batteries (4xAAA, which could be annoying if you really intend to use them with batteries all the time - I got them to use at home), but no adapter to plug into the mains. Fortunately I had one of these already. They are a lot smaller than they seem from the picture Amazon provides, but the sound is much bigger than you'd expect. With the sound enhancer turned on they can fill a medium sized room easily, and they are a great price too. Obviously, I haven't had time to test them out when traveling, but I'm sure they'd be great as they have a surprisingly long playtime and come with a protective case.

Great but fragile
I have had 2 sets of these creative speakers which overall I think are great for the money. The sound is good both depth and loudness and they are super small size for travelling. Read more
