    + Very intuitive controls.
    The interface is so obvious and user-friendly that you should never have to resort to the manual or any websites. Good job on that one!

    + According to the specification, the battery life is very good. I've had my player for (I think) nearly two weeks now, and despite of extensive use the battery isn't even close to dying.
    Better still: every time I'm uploading new files it is enough for it to get charged up back to 100% (by USB) :) looks like it may never run out that way.

    ~ I can't speak much about sound quality - some websites criticized it as not impressive. I'm not an audiophile and for me it's satisfactory. Some mp3s sound so-so (especially the ones with lower bit rate) but you can usually sort this out by switching EQ.

    CONS
    - I had the Creative Centrale application (their piece of software for music management) crash a couple of times while indexing files, so it is somewhat buggy.

    It is not such a big deal though, since you can use this player as an USB device (at least on Windows XP), and simply drag&drop the files onto it. IMPORTANT - you need to download and install Windows Media Player 1 for this to work!! Otherwise your system will NOT recognize your Mozaic as a flash drive, and you'll be limited to the MTP protocol..

    - ZEN wouldn't play some songs in WMA format. Some worked fine, while others were not visible at all. Why? God knows.
    I am not geeky enough to investigate it - I chose the simpliest option and converted them to MP3 (which is easy and quick, plenty of freeware available out there that does just that).

    It did disappoint me "out of principle" though, since the very same WMA files worked fine on my old Creative MuVo - there was no problem at all.
    So how come a 5 times more expensive player, made by the same company, can't deal with them all of a sudden.

    Also note that actually a lot of customers complained about various problems with WMA files - I discovered that when I tried to google out some solution of the problem I described above (just before I gave up and converted the files).

    It doesn't worry me very much, since no more than 2% of my music collection is in WMA. But if a significant part of yours consisted of WMA files, you should perhaps be aware that people are having such issues.

    OVERALL, I would recommend this product. It's not perfect, but the flaws I discovered are not of any major importance to me. So if your expectations are not much different from mine, Zen Mozaic seems to be a decent choice.

    A fantastic and compact little player. It's easy to use and well set out, nice screen but not tried video yet. I personally think that it is better than the Zen, although the software that comes with it is not very well laid out and i found it hard to use. the Zen sofware was better. I tend to drag and drop my music into the players folder so you don't have to use the given software. If you update the player i found that it quickens the player start up. The player doesn't freeze like my Zen did. Check out reviews of the speaker dock if you are thinking of buying one to go with it, as i found that it was a little small, and a little tinny. If you are just buying the player, it will be money well spent.

    This is the first MP3 player purchased and was mainly bought for my wife during her stays in hospital. It is very compact and amazing capacity excellent reception either via headphones or unit itself. I will probably buy one for myself whilst walking the dog!
