This receiver is a add- on to my already purchased X-Fi transmitter and receiver, so I can now have a second set of speakers in my bedroom and be able to listen to my computer WMA music collection, it sounds great with no interuptions or interference from any other devices. Also I'm able to flick through the music tracks with the remote, change the music settings, increase decrease volume aswell has zone the speakers.

I bought this (with the transmitter) to listen to TV with headphones - avoiding trailing extension cables. I want to listen to the sound loud while my other half likes the sound quiet.
Unfortunately due to the technology the sound lags a few frames behind the picture. This lack of synchronisation is annoying but is unacceptable when the TV speakers are also in use as there is an echo effect.
Its gone back in its box. Don't buy it if this is how you will use it. It's fine for ipod use though or just music.

Creative X-Fi Wireless Receiver - Wireless audio delivery system receiver
This is not a bluethooth device and in the description is not clearly described. this only works with creative devices and is useless if is setup as any other wireless device.
