When I first saw this title, I was a little curious to ascertain why this book is so expensive. It's slim and is probably one of the most expensive titles on Creative Writing I have ever seen. I bought the title thinking that it must be something good, at least! When I finished reading the last page of the book, I found out that my entire understanding of creative writing has been changed. This book follows a guideline prescribed by an Indian university and is basically written according to their syllabus. It talks about writing creatively in an examination and most importantly, in a specific time frame, which, I think, is a problem that every creative writer suffers. This book steadily approached that issue and provided a completely new way of approaching creative writing. Additionally there are some brilliant sample writings which can be independently read as works of great literature. The exercise sections also help anyone to start writing creatively as the opening chapter on brainstorming does. Finally the important points elucidated in `Tips' and `Ask Yourself' section gives the book an extremely unique dimension. In one word, the price of the book is much less than what it should be. It is a `must read' title for anyone who wants to explore the vast ocean of creativity!
