A Kid's Review
Format:Paperback
A book of colour and inspiration. This book surprized me with the content. It has beautiful themed pages offering suggestions of different fabrics to weave with, cottons, linen, wool, rug wool, hemp, ribbon, old materials eg and old favorite table cloth. The suggestions are supported by instructions and useful tips. There are pages of introducing the beginner to weaving with simple descriptions for setting up and weaving on a rigid heddle loom. A useful Yarn guide with both UK and US conversions. Warp calculations are another useful instruction. Additionally there is a section on peg loom weaving with clear illustration of the process.
A feast of colour and suggestions. This book is a delightful addition to any weavers library.
