The clip which holds the player in the tab on the armband depends on a tiny spring which easily pops out of the clip when the Zen is knocked. This make it quite useless in any kind of active exercise. I complained to Creative and received the following reply:

With regards to your issue, I'd like to inform you that most of the
accessories are packaged together as a complete unit with the product.
As such, we are unable to sell them to you. It is not covered under our
warranty therefore we can provide the support for it. Any inconvenience
caused is regretted.

Interstingly, as this item shows, the accessory was not packaged with the product, but the overall quality of the response matches the quality of the accessory itself. Pity, I like the player but its no good to me without a sensible armband.

Product fits easily on the upper arm. Very compfortable to wear, allows access to all the mosaic's buttons. Overall, very happy with this product.
the fit is snug, the clip is flimsy, the strap too wide and the rubber sheath too thick to press controls accurately. As long as exercise is tame, this is adequate but a long way from satisfactory.
