Contrary to one other review, my set experienced no echo problems. The headphones performed very well, and the sound is very bassy while staying nice and crisp at the high end.
Sound leakage can be the only problem with these so they're unsuitable for office use.

Well I'm no audio techno whizz so I can't give you any pearls of wisdom. I would say though that I listen to a vast range of music and in the 30 minutes I have had these headphones on I have been overwhelmed with the quality of sound. I've listened to some LTJ Bukem Drum and Bass, Pantera for some noisy metal, some jingly indie guitar stuff. It all sounds amazing. This was all through my ipod as since ordering I've discovered that my amp does not have a headphone socket which is a kind of pain.............. I'd say that the band is maybe just a little tight although that said it was not uncomfortable to wear them for 30 minutes in any way but I did know that I had them on. If I could have listened to them before I bought them would I still have done. For sure I would and I reckon if I'm honest I'd have probably paid a bit more too.

At this price these headphones offer good value in terms of sound and comfort. One reservation, though, is that the cable puts the left side of the swivel mechanism under too much tension if you sit anything like the full distance of its reach. Mine broke after several months of use. Amazon's excellent customer service facility acknowledged my problem and swiftly replaced them with a new pair. These - so far, have been very satisfactory, so fingers crossed.
