A well written and illustrated book for inspiring the creative imagination. This guide to basketry opens the readers mind to a variety of materials,tools, styles and patterns. Wonderful pictures and step by step illustrations make this book invaluable to the beginner and experienced basket maker alike. I could not have managed without it.Of all the books I have on basketry this is the one I return to most often for ideas and reassurance that basketry is an art and a craft, and as such does not have to conform to anyone elses standards, but the makers.
