MISLEADING TITLE 22 Jan 2011
Format:Paperback
Do not buy this book if you are expecting to find plans that will enable you to make complete buildings. What it does tell you is how to make façades or flats consisting of wood cut-outs covered with simple line drawings coloured with pencils.
The title is frankly dishonest and if it weren't for the hassle involved, and the fact that the book was cheap, I would have sent it straight back.

Creating Wooden Villages -Designs for 18 Miniature Buildings 30 Nov 2008
By Gabbie - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
The title of this book is very misleading as is the back cover. It turns out that all you learn to "make" is a photocopy of a picture of a building, colored in and glued to a piece of wood; not exactly what I had in mind. I assumed because the back cover states that "you can replicate architectural treasures in miniature and create your own wooden village" that the end result would be a 3-D village. It seemed to me that the "techniques" being taught in this book are likened to being instructed on how to color a coloring book. If I printed this review and glued it to a piece of wood, I would have basically, according to the author, have just made a wooden replica of my review. I'm glad I bought this book used and it only cost me $2.00.

Creating Wooden Villages: Designs for 18 Miniature Buildings 2 April 2007

Format:Paperback
I returned both the books I ordered because they were not what I needed. I was looking for patterns and there weren't any that I could use.
