I bought this present for my 5 years old daughter: for a small amount of money we spent a lot of time together making wonderful drawings and decorating things... The content of the box it's a plastic rectangle with two holes, 5 plastic circles, a few coloured pencils and a few white sheets. By putting a pencil in the holes and moving it round and round you can create beautiful and always different shapes. It's great fun, I love it myself! But, before you buy it, you should consider that it's quite difficult to use, and a small child would need help and support in using it... My daughter got very frustrated when she tried it by herself, I think kids of her age (she's 5) simply don't have enough skills and coordination for this activity.

I bought this for my 8 year old who likes to draw and do arty things. I bought it as I remembered how much fun I had with my spirograph as a child.
The box is very small. In fact its rubbish.
The spirograph had small holes for you to pin the plastic thing down to the paper and a board, this doesnt so it slips around.
I wouldnt recomend this product. Its stayed in the box, hardly used.

Remember the brilliant Spirograph? Well this is nothing like it. A couple of bits of plastic and paper is all you get. It's difficult to use, only offers a few designs regardless of which holes you choose and brings frustration rather than joy. There's much better stuff out there than this - why not protest to MB/Hasbro and get them to bring back the original Spirograph in all its' glory?

Great toy for beginners in geometric patterns. Children will love it. I remember having this as a child and spent endless hours of fun with it.

very difficult to use
Very disappointed in this item,very difficult to use and not really worth buying it. My daughter tried to use it and gave up has sat in the cupboard ever since!!
