If your interest lie in the latest developments in contemporary art, then this is for you, one surprise however is, the format, not the usual bound book format, but a set of large loose pink sheets in a folder, not one for the train home.

For anyone interested in the current contemporary art market, this publication comes highly recommended. The book binding approach (or rather: lack thereof) is quite innovative, though the publication is definitely too large to easily take with you on public transport. It is ideally read at home on a desk. Each artist gets a minimum of two large A3 pages, some even get four. This leaves plenty of room for photos of up to 10 works per artist, and this will give you a much clearer insight into what a particular artist is all about.
A great overview of the current contemporary art world, and a great source of inspiration for curators, collectors, or artists.

The content is excellent and exactly what the title implies but I was very disappointed in the loose-leaf format. Why is it described as a paperback? Are the publishers trying to cut production costs? I'm just grateful that I didn't pay the publisher's full price for something that should be described as a resource folder rather than a book.
