This album has some decent tracks on it and in that respect it's alot better than most mix albums available, however, as other reviewers have pointed out, the mixing is awful, it's not just the technical side that's shoddy, whoever mixed this simply has no clue about music, the order of the tracks shows little thinking which ruins any atmosphere the album may have had. They should be banned from turntables.

On the box this CD looks great. The tracklist boasts classic after classic and some awesome original stuff. Unfortunately this turns out to just be another clubbing brand cashing in on the clubbing season, with a woefully mixed mash of songs, put together on a computer. If you are a clubber, you'll have heard For An Angel being epically dropped by DJ's into their sets... NOT ala Cream, with an iTunes-esque crossfade from Chicane's Poppiholla, and that's just the first two tracks.
We see it all too many times, these brands churning out compilations, not paying a DJ to mix the tracks, and this is just another one for the pile.
P.S - If you're reading this and want a brilliant summer soundtrack, classics and banging originals, Gatecrasher Trance Anthems 1993 - 2009. Scott Bond, Matt Hardwick and Judge Jules on amazing form. It's truly up there with Black, Red and Wet. BUY CRASHER'S OFFERING.

Im a bit of a sucker for an advert about dance CD's so i saw this on TV and thought sounds great i'll buy it so i did. The cd is good, some guff on it as usual but they never play the guff songs on the advert so suckers like me fall for it but no complaints really.

Bought for my Father for his Birthday. I'm told that there's a lot of "classics" on here that are a "must-have". My Father is very much into his dance music and plays this all the time. Although I'm not a fan of the Genre myself, I can only assume that this is a good album, the amount of playtime that it gets with my Dad. Great Purchase!

Got loads of Dancey trancey stuff, esp Fierce and HK - this is a bit sharper and exceptional value for money - 3 long remixes at the end means you can tee up the ipod and forget. Poppiholla is the main track I bought this for - can't get enough of it. If you buy it and don't like it, I'll eat my dog.

Having grown up with Trance music, I would like to think ive heard most compilations of this Genre. This is by far my favorite album to date! CD1 instantly puts me in a fantastic mood, recommened to all ! Excellent stuff.
