Author Kate Angell has written a fun, hot, rollicking good story.

Bree Emery, a clairsentient, meaning she reads through her sense of touch, is hired to rid an ocean liner of its resident ghost, 1925 flapper Daisy Alton. Reported to have murdered her lover and then committed suicide, Daisy looks to Bree to clear her name.

The owner of the St.Croix cruise line, playboy Sexton St Croix views Daisy's ghostly presence with distaste. Not only did she murder his great grand uncle Rudolph, bookings are non-existent on the ship since people don't like to sail with a ghost. The ghost has to go or the interior fittings will be auctioned off and the ship will be broken up and sold for scrap.

Bree and Sexton's relationship begins as business and ends up much more. Sexton's transition from hedonist to a one woman man is amusing, sweet and believable. Bree's gradual admiration and love for Sexton is also well done.

There are hot, sensual scenes in the book, but also three great loves stories.

Flipping from events of 1925 to present day is handled well, allowing the reader to try and guess who murdered Daisy and Randolph and why.

Altogether a great read and one I highly recommend. I look forward to reading Kate Angell's other books.

Outstanding! 25 Dec 2004
By Detra Fitch TOP 500 REVIEWER VINE™ VOICE
Format:Mass Market Paperback
Back in 1925 Randolph St. Croix, owner of the luxury liner "SS Magestic", jilted his fiancé for a poor flapper named Daisy Alton. History claimed Daisy killed Randolph, within her cabin, before committing suicide. The family heirloom, a six carat fire opal encircled by diamonds, that Randolph had recently presented to Daisy was never found. Nor was the gun Daisy supposedly used for her ghastly crime. Since that cruise, no one would book passage due to Daisy's ghost. The ship was put into dry dock ... for eighty years.

Sexton St. Croix was putting the ship back out to sea. However, Daisy kept scaring off the guests and the crew. In an attempt to rid his haunted liner of Daisy, Sexton has billed a cruise as a five day psychic cruise. The only reputable clairsentient aboard is Bree Emery. Sexton settles Bree into Daisy's cabin, 7001, on the seventh floor. (It is the only part of the ship that no one could seem to renovate.)

Sexton despises Daisy for killing his great-great uncle and refuses to believe the ghost is innocent. But Bree knows upon contact that Daisy did NOT kill Randolph. In order to set Daisy free, Bree must figure out who killed the star-crossed couple and then prove it. Hard to do when Bree gets visions from touching, because every time Sexton barely even touches her Bree is set aflame.

***** Author Kate Angell has created a romantic comedy with paranormal activity to liven up the scenes in this outstanding novel. Daisy is a ghost that you cannot help but love! There is a great sub plot romance with Sexton's sister and his bodyguard as well. Then there are all the other "psychics" on board to stir up some trouble. This gem is not to be missed! Outstanding! *****

Wow, Wow, Wow!!! 12 April 2005
By A. Lloyd - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
This was an awesome, sexy, funny love story. Actually, its really 3 love stories rolled into one. The story centers around a ghost from a 1925 murder mystery who cannot rest until the truth about what happened to her and her lover onboard a cruise ship are uncovered. The modern day owner, Sexton St Croix (who, unbelievably, is nick named Sex...yeah, I know) hires a gaggle of psychics, one of whom is Bree Emery, to rid the ship of the troublesome ghost. Sex is a very dedicated playboy, who finds that special something in Bree that's been missing all his life. Bree is a very gifted psychic who finds herself caught up in the old mystery that plagues the ship. The third couple is St Croix sister, Cecilia, and his best friend, Jax, who has the most AMAZING sexual encounters (trying to fight an attraction but only causing it to blaze out of control). Theirs is probably the sweetest and steamiest love story I've read. I found myself unable to put this book down. It has tons of humor, hot sex, and a wonderful happy ending for everyone. You wont regret getting this book!

Sensational ... Kate Angell Shines! 3 April 2005
By Sue-Ellen Welfonder - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
Already known for her sizzling hot and highly original tales, Angell outdoes

herself with Crazy For You. Pulling in her readers from the very first line,

she weaves a web of brilliantly-spun magic that enchants and captivates. A

romantic adventure at sea, this is the story of Sexton St. Croix, a man who

has everything except the one woman who makes life meaningful and Bree

Emery, an endearing and uniquely talented heroine whose special gift lets

her unlock not only the mysteries of the past but also Sexton's well-guarded

heart. Sexy, hilarious, and deeply touching, in Crazy For You, Angell

skillfully tells not one but three beautiful romances, each one

intrinsically interwoven with the others to create an incredibly satisfying

reading experience. Filled with love, passion, dark secrets and the charm of

the paranormal, this winner is fast-paced and brims with walk-off-the-page

characters so real you'll feel you know them and so much lush and authentic

tropical atmosphere you'll be persuaded to call a travel agent and book a

cruise on Sexton's Majestic. You may also want to join me in encouraging the

author to start up a sideline designing men's boxer shorts, an endeavor that

would surely bring her a mint. But above all, it is Daisy, the 1920's

flapper, who will steal your heart and have you rooting for her - even long

after you've read the last line.

As someone who rarely has time to read for pleasure, I must say that Crazy

For You consumed me. Made me laugh out loud and cry. This is definitely one

to put at the top of your must-read list! Go Daisy!

Romance with a paranormal mystery twist 15 April 2006
By Book Collector - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Bree is a clairsentient, able to capture memories by toughing other people or objects. Sexton St Croix (nickname "Sex" for good reason...) is a luxory ocean liner owner desperate to get rid of the ghost, Daisy, who is haunting his ship. But the only way Daisy will leave is if Bree solves her murder. The mystery wasn't terribly difficult to figure out, but it was wonderful reading how Bree uses her visions of the past to come closer to both Sexton...and the murderer...... This was also a rather unusual romance in that there was an equally strong secondary story line occuring with Sexton's sister and her bodyguard. It was just as intertaining as the sparks flying between Bree and Sexton. I'll think you'll find this a fun read. I look forward to reading other books by this author.
