I was so impressed with these scissors:
- first they are very well made, no rough edges, study and nice and colourful
- we had no problems cutting through standard plain paper with ease
- extremely safe, no metal, no sharp pieces and they only cut paper. I examined them very well before I let my daughter have them and was pleased to see just how safe they were.
- one pair cuts straight lines and the second zig-zags which my daughter really likes
- amazingly good value

Had they not been so cheap i would have sent them back for a refund. A fundamental function of scissors is that they cut! I can barely use these, much less my children (they are young, but why else would you buy plastic scissors?)

My little boy has really using these scissors, but he didn't take very long at all to break the first pair. If they weren't so cheap I would have rated them lower because of the durability, but as it is I still think they are good value. They do cut paper (and glace cherries) but you have to get the angle right which is not so easy for a toddler.

Hard for an adult, especially hard for children
Was very excited to receive these but they are very difficult to use and the purple ones almost impossible. i do not recommend. Will invest in some proper children's scissors.
