My 7 year old son was given this for Christmas and really enjoyed playing with it, until the Glow Markers quickly ran out. No shop sells the refills, you have to order them from Crayola, who are currently out of stock. The Glow board has sat for months on the shelf unused and has been a waste of money. I would have recommended it if the refills had been readily available, but without them it is useless.

This is a brilliant toy, it's not only kept my kids quiet for hours, but even better, there's no mess, they wipe the plates clean then start again.
You can make 3D pictures and cartoon type moving images.
In the dark the pictures are really bright, with a neon effect.
Not sure why previos reviewer had problems with pens as I phoned to order relacements 2 weeks ago with no problem.

My 8 (nearly 9) year old daughter received this toy yesterday from my sister. She loves it, has played with it for 2 days solid. It is easy to use and the results are effective. We haven't tried to order pen refills as yet, but I aim to try to soon, as I am dreading them running out!
