While I agree with the sentiment of many of the negative reviews, the paint is gel like and not like regular paint I disagree that this is such a bad thing.
It is designed for very young children, from 24 months, all the other paints are from ages 3 and up and with good reason.
Yes this paint is not going to paint a particularly good picture but for my 2 year old whose main aim is to spread as much of it over the page, the table, his hands hair and face as possible it is perfect. It's non toxic, washes straight off his clothes and anything else it touches including my Laura Ashley cushions!
I think if you are purchasing for a very young child who doesn't care much for what his "artwork" looks like it is a great product for his first adventure into the world of painting!

There are only 3 colours in this set - red, yellow and blue. However these are colours that can be mixed with each other to make other colours.
The paint is not like normal paint, it is more like coloured gel. This isn't a negative in my opinion as it works just like paint and looks just like paint when it's dry. I think this is better for younger children (toddlers) rather than older children as it seems easiler and less challenging to use than normal paints.
The way I use them is to squeeze a small amount of each colour onto a plate and let my daughter use a brush, sponge or her fingers to make pictures with. The only downside in doing this is it's very easy to mix all the colours together.
The paints can be used for painting pictures, making handprints, footprints, finger painting and general childrens arts and crafts. They're also good to make keepsakes.
Best of all the paints are totally washable. I've got them on all types of surfaces and clothing (even whites) and they have all come out in the washing machine. They also come off easily on skin - just a rinse under the tap is needed.
The advantages of this product for me would be it does what it says on the tin, it's great for toddlers, bright colours, is washable and comes in a bottle which means I can decide how much paint I want to be squeezed out.

This is a very odd product, and is not like paint at all. It's more like a translucent gel than a paint. When dried it is okay to look at, but doesn't really work very well as a paint, it is *supposed* to be a finger paint, but I would still have expected something a little more opaque than this.
Having said that, it is not a complete waste of time, because my 2 year old does enjoy squeezing out the paint as it makes a satisfying squelching noise.

Arrived quite quickly in the post. These are great, they wash off really easily.
