I, like others was attracted to these in order to avoid the hunt-the-pen-lid game. Unfortunately both my 2 and 5 year olds really struggle to get the lids off, and when they do, they struggle to get them to fix onto the other end of the pen. As there is a clip which enables the lid to slide from one end to the other, if you can't click them on, they end up flapping about which is really irritating. They're good for colouring, but we wouldn't have them again as they're just too fiddly.

I bought these for my children who were for ever leaving the caps off their felt tip pens. Now no more dried out nibs and lost tops. Perfect solution and money saved not buying more pens to dry up again. Brilliant idea.

These are everything I hope they would be. I was so sick of spending 10 minutes at the end of every colouring session scrabbling around on the floor for lost lids. These pens prob cost a little bit more than normal felt but they are good quality washable markers and the kids seem to prefer using them over other pens but the beg thing that makes them worth the money is that they last so much longer as we don't have to let one dry out at the end of each session because we can't find the lids.
My 2 year old found it a little tricky to slide the lid down the pen and stick it on the end at first but she can do it easily now. I just wish they make them in a few more colours.

Nice idea but ink everywhere
Great idea. Never lose the tops and can attach to a cord to hang them, but when you use them you get ink all over your hands, whether an adult or child is uing them. Read more
