I LOVE this little book!
It's one that I go back to every now and again, whenever I feel the need for a fast weight loss.
As the author says, "crashdieting" has a bad ring to it, but it really shouldn't have, because any healthy person with normal weight can handle a few days on these diets.
How often do you see a starving person? And yet everywhere you look, there is obese people, who could really survive, and profit from, a few days of fresh produce. It couldn't hurt anyone to stick to these refreshing plans with fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts etc. for a few days. Compared to all the processed stuff people eat nowadays, crashdieting could be concidered as lesser evil, -if evil at all!
The featured diets are delicious, nutricious and easy. They also work, and I found it fun to stick to them! It even felt a little elegant, with the allowed glass of white wine etc.
Some of the recipies have found their way into my regular cooking.
This book can be used as a kick-start to a healthier, lighter food regime and lifestyle, and as a quick fix before a special occasion, when you want to look especially good in your dress!
