Review

This is a beautiful, unforgettably moving story about the true meaning of Life and Death... and what makes sense of both. Love --Gabriel Byrne

Product Description

Craig Sexton was born on 21 July 2000, the first child born to Neville and Barbara. He was a completely normal little boy, the light of their lives, funny, intelligent, cheeky at times, but full of life and fun. Their lives were transformed forever by their young son. All went well, with the usual ups and downs, until the summer of 2006 when suddenly Craig began to behave strangely. His head lolled to one side and he had trouble with his balance. At first the doctors didn t think it too serious, but it was. Craig had a brain tumour which killed him on 2 November 2006. But, of course, he lives on in his parents memory and always will. The Boy Who Lives is a heartbreaking memoir of a dead son written by his father. It will move you to tears.

WOW.... 30 April 2011
Format:Paperback
Bought this book and just could not put it down... read it in one day, a truly heartbreakingly funny, story of a normal little boy who is the light of his parents lives. Craig is struck down by a Tumour, follow his journey and that of his parents and family who struggle to accept what is happening to them. Craig is a remarkable little boy and reading his dads story, it appears he was remarkable from a very young age!! very funny, a journey of so much happiness right through to terrible sadness... I laughed and I cried... a Story that took remarkable courage to tell, but one that is such a fantastic tribute to such a Fantastic Boy... God Bless Craig, Continue to shine your light!! x
