First Class product from a first class source. Craghoppers are not the easiest trews to find in Northern Europe, so imagine my delight when I found my size and favourite colour - and without having to bid and bite my nails to the quick for days in anticipation! These are my hiking trousers of choice- better even than Colombia, whose shirts I think are best. The only thing I miss with Craggies is an elasticated drawstring around the leg-endings, but I'm lucky enough to have an excellent tailor who fixes that in 30 minutes flat for the equivalent of a fiver. They'll wash in a stream and dry whilst your sausages are frying and you can put them on before you're ready for bed - around 60-90 minutes depending on humidity. They're roomy, they 'breathe' and they don't stick to the skin, which I find great having been sat tight in the cockpit of a small aircraft for hours on end. I'd like to buy more, but they don't wear out fast enough!

Craghopper have come up with the ultimate trouser. My wardrobe contains little else these days other than the standard, winter lined, and zip-off versions of these trousers. They have the perfect combination of pockets - so you always know where everything is, and that its securely zipped up. They are hard wearing and take a lot of abuse. They have water repellant qualities so that droplets of water run off. When they do get soaked they dry extremely quickly.
I don't know how any other trouser manufacturers are still selling any.
Not so keen on the wet sand colour. All the others are fine.

So good that if I had been the post man delivering them, I'd have turned up wearing them.
Luckily they were individually wrapped and delivered in one box.
The fact I have four pairs in different colours should say it all - having tried on a pair in a shop to pick the correct size.
There is some elastication in the sides of the waist, so my size 34" seems to fit 34" and a bit bigger - i.e. all my other trousers are 36".

Excellent Hiking Trousers
