Really good reference source to get started on learning about the Arts and Crafts movement. Came to this book after reading AS Byatts 'The Children's Book' which was brilliant. Lovely photos.

This is another excellent book by, probably the best and most knowledgeable Arts and Crafts Movement specialist in the UK. It is Cheltenham's loss that the author is no longer the curator of the Arts and Crafts collection in Cheltenham. Always erudite and interesting, the author's love and understanding of her subject matter shines through and inspires the reader to further reseach reading.
