I was also wondering why this book was so different to the Sew Sunny titles - the photography seems dark and very bland in comparison, and the fabrics used are very plain - but then I was told that it's not new at all! These projects were originally published in Norwegian some years ago. So they're not an indication of where Tone Finnanger is going at all, but where she started. The "Tilda's Summer Ideas" book is brand new and completely in keeping with the Sew Sunny series. That's not to say Crafting Tilda's Friends is to be missed - it's full of adorable figures and it's really interesting to see how the Tilda style has developed over the years.

More classic Tone with different inventions to make your world a prettier place. Yes it's printed on dull, what looks like recycled paper, yes it was previously published in Norway in 2002. Still very worthwhile and at a bargain price. If you are a Tone Finnanger or Tilda fan, don't miss this one. If you have not yet discovered these creations, I can highly recommend any of Tone's work as the best of the best. She has a unique style and you'll love sewing these offerings.

This book is ideal for anybody wants to do a simple and funny crafting!
I will strongly reccommend this book if you like me love to create funny and lovely toys, the instruction are very simple (a basic knowledge of sewing however necessary) step by step description of what to do with illustration!
I did buy actually this book after getting my copy to a friend that never sew before and she did find all experience very rewarding.

love the cats and frogs
Love the animal characters in this book and also the colours are different to other Tilda books. Fun to make items and super gift suggestions. Really like this book!
