I bought this book at the same time as a few others for my classroom as I'm currently working on a World War Two topic with my class. I liked the idea of some craft projects related to the topic so felt this book was worthwhile. It says on the front cover:
Things to Make
Imagine my surprise when I opened the book to find a grand total of THREE craft activities in it and ZERO "activities." The only craft projects are making a tin hat, the recipe for a flan using carrots and the template for a paper aeroplane.
The facts and information is standard children's non-fiction fare, but I was irritated in that I'd already bought books to cover this and was looking specifically for craft projects.
