Book Description
The Craft Galleries Guides have been updated every other year since 1992. The current, fourth edition, includes 106 galleries and nearly 450 makers, lavishly illustrated with 600 colour photographs. The Guide provides a colourful and informative selection covering a wide range of the contemporary craft world at the end of the 90s. A useful resource book (giving readers the opportunity to check the type of work sold at a gallery before planning a visit) for all buyers, collectors, makers, graduates, tourists, gallery owners and many others who just enjoy beautiful hand made objects.

From The Lion Gallery in Mid-West & Wales section : The Lion Gallery was opened in direct response to the need by artists and craftspeople in North Herefordshire for a lively, self-sufficient gallery space in the ancient town of Leominster. The area is rich in makers of distinction and we aim to show many of them by frequently changing exhibits.
The description continues alongside a location map and followed by an illustrated half page profile on 8 of their regular makers.
