5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing, forward thinking, beautiful album, 20 April 2004

Acacia are a band that were sadly overlooked in the late 90s. Lead singer Alexander's voice is soothing, mellow and sexy! Guy Sigsworth (who went on to be in Frou Frou and produce Madonna, Bjork, Seal, Mandalay and Britney Spears) was also a key member of the band, and Cradle showcased the sounds that would end up being developed years later on Frou Frou's 'Details' album. Cradle also featured Imogen Heap (uk singer/songwriter and member of Frou Frou) singing backing vocals. Highly recommended album. Buy it now!

I saw them at the Garage in Islington on my 28th birthday, back in 1996 - they were very special. This album encapsulates them perfectly. It's a shame it's been overlooked in favour of lesser talents (Embrace, The Stereophonics, anyone?), oh well. Check it out now!
