For me, the ongoing series of books from Telos publishing covering each series of "New Who" are indispensable.

Looking at each episode with a critical eye and also including behind the scenes information and reviews at the time from various media.

If an episode is praiseworthy then praise is given but the writers are never shy to state their opinion when they feel something does not work or simply doesn't make sense.

Due to the popularity of Doctor Who there are many books on the market but for me these are ones I always need!
