These books have encouraged my son to read. He has all the books which have already been released and read some of them three or four times. Any book that encourages children to read must be a good book as far as I'm concerned.

Our 11 year old son loves these books. He goes to a local French speaking school and in order to keep up his English we are always hunting for captivating books. These books do the job! This is what he says about "The Pirate Mootiny":
This imaginative story is about Moobeard and his crew who are equipped with butter bazookas and sour cream pistols and they attack and take over other ships to bring them back to the isle of "udderdoom". I like the play on words throughout the book and the characters are very creative. My favorite character of the series is Bo Vine because she is funny, weird and full of "kung-moo"!

It has become a habit in my family to spend every night reading a chapter on Steve Cole books. My seven year old twins ( 0ne is a girl and the other a boy, so it's nice to get something that they both like) prefer the Cows in Action and it is a pleasure to read them. And as an added bonus they learn a bit of history without realising
