This is a reflector that needs no assistant to hold it, it's got a handle, so you can position it left handed while you click with your right. Genius... Ergonomic for my big hands, the handle may be easier for me to use that someone with smaller fingers, but It's not going to be hard to use for anyone...and it packs away into a flat bag you can fit inside a small backpack or messenger bag, or even inside your waistband. Packed down, it's around 24cm round, & pops up to 3x that area. White/silver surfaces are very good, but they could have a zip-away to add a gold reflector, but i'm being picky... It's an incredibly useable device. I've got a much larger last-o-lite round one (42" I think), but this makes adding light for close up & portrait, VERY easy, and is a seriously portable size.
The quality of the reflector looks to be excellent, while it's bag is a bit flimsy...what do you expect at this price though??
Overall, this is more useful than almost any fill in/feature flash. It adds light in a soft & natural way, but then I'm not really a strobist fan. Give me a good lens & natural/ambient light & I'm happy..
I've only had this for a day, but I know already it is getting used way more than any other way I might add light..& I'll use it to direct the light from the on board flash or hot shoe flash, when I do (rarely) use a flash. It's a winner, just get one, you'll see what I mean..

I purchased one of these as a cheap alternative to the Lastolite Trigrip. I thought the handle would be fixed to the end of the reflector. It is in fact a sponge tube that is threaded around the sprung frame so when you hold the handle the reflector rotates to the vertical position. Totally useless for the job its expected to do. The case that it comes in ripped almost immediately too.

Pay the extra money for a Lastolite if you expect any long term use out of your reflector.

Ive found its not as well built as the lastolite products, which also have better grips but for the price you really cant go wrong with this.

As a budget reflector this is not bad, but if you have used the sunbounce or a lastolite you will notice the difference in the sturdiness, of the grip, this just does not have it. It is however useful if you are reflecting light when doing macro photography etc, so if money is a bit short, and you need a reflector right now then its worth the few pounds you will pay for it.

Small convenient and very functional - its as well made as any and I find the "CowboyStudio" label on the bag hilarious - when I think of all the large mirrors I have broken just to get a handful of small reflectors
