Reviews of Cowboy Town
**This story was so beautifully written, and sweet. It showed with the right people in your life, no matter what walls you build, people can break through them.** Reading Past My Bedtime.
**I was 2 pages in when I decided that I loved this book.**Obsession Is A Book

Ever since her parents passed away in a tragic car accident, Eden Cross has been living a quiet, stable and predictable life in inner Sydney – the total opposite of her carefree, relaxed, happy-go-lucky past. Her parents passing and the fact she’s an only child meant Eden was left with her best friend, Jules and Matt, her boyfriend of three years as her only family. That was until she discovered something about Matt that would turn her life upside down. Eden leaves Sydney in a hurry and begins an adventure that takes her across four Australian states before she lands in Pine Creek, Northern Territory.

Jackson Henley has lived in Pine Creek his entire life. He runs a massive cattle and cropping station with his twin brother, Jeremy, which they inherited when their parents retired. He’s had a bad experience with relationships courtesy of The Bitch - Dannika, so lately he’s preferred to play the field. That is, until he comes face to face with the stunning brunette beauty who’s behind the bar at the Cow and Calf. The problem is, she won’t tell him her name, she won’t give him the time of day, and she won’t give him a chance to prove himself.

What’s it going to take for Eden to give Jackson a chance? Does he have the patience to even bother fighting for her? How will he handle the competition?

In the end, will Jackson have what it takes to convince Eden to start living again, instead of just existing?

5.0 out of 5 stars Bring Me Some Aussie Lovin 20 July 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
I received an ARC copy of this book, from the author, in exchange for an honest review.

Where to start with this one. I was 2 pages in when I decided that I loved this book. The scene between Edie and Matt in those first few pages had me like `Oh yeah I'm feeling your frustration'. We've all been there, we've all put up with it and then we've all moved on to bigger and better and never looked back. Funny stuff.

I love the way that Kasey has written the book. It's quite rare to find a book written in this style but when you do, you know you have found a good `un.

With this book you're brought into it. You become part of the story instead of the interloper on someone elses' story. The book interacts with you and this along with the humour makes you not want to put it down. I may or may not have been late for work this morning because the first thing I did when I opened my eyes was reach for my Kindle.

Kasey has had me laughing, crying and on the edge of my seat. I found myself with a stupid smile on my face most of the way through this book. I'm sure I looked like a right nutter walking down the street, staring at my phone (Kindle APP), with this huge goofy grin and occasional giggle popping out of me.........

The book is real, real language, real situations. Just plain real! The one-liners in the book were class.

The plot was well thought out and although this is Jackson and Edie's story the foundation has been laid well for further books in the series.

The characters are fun! I love that they remind me of me and my friends, the phrases that are used, the attitude that is shown. I could have been down the pub shooting the breeze with them. If there is one book you read this summer then I strongly suggest that this is it!

Jackson may or may not be my new book boyfriend.........

Thank you Kasey for the opportunity to ARC read this book!

2.0 out of 5 stars This is a big no-no for me! 17 July 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I'll start at 4 stars for writing a book that I was willing to read...then I'll take 2 stars away for being irresponsible. In this day and age for people to have no consideration for their sexual health or other ramifications of unprotected sex is just not on. Not even a discussion, just assumptions. I was so angry I nearly put down the book and refused to read any further.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Read 9 Jun 2014
By Danny J
Format:Kindle Edition
I was lucky to win a copy of this book via a giveaway and I was so glad that it introduced me to these hot cowboys.

I really enjoyed this book and finished it in a few hours in one sitting (always a good sign when I don't want to put a book down).

I loved the main characters in this and it made a nice change to love the female lead as much as the hot male lead. It was a great fun stand alone story and I'm looking forward to more from this series

Cowboy Town by Kasey Millstead check
5/5

Kasey’s third book and she just keeps getting better with every book
Kasey Millstead is fast becoming one of my fav authors.
Meet Edan, she is left devastated by the sudden untimely death of both her parents, being an only child, she only has a best friend Jules to lean on until she meets Matt, can you take an instant dislike to a character in just a few lines, I can answer that yes you can, I disliked him with a passion straight away, Edan discovers something out about Matt, and with Jules abroad working, she pack’s up for a few days away to sort herself out , days turn into weeks, and weeks into months, it’s as if she is looking for some where to be that makes her feel good.
Pine Creek is small and it just feels right to Edan, she fits right in straight away, she meets Ava and they are instant friends, she also meets Jackson who does his best to put Edan off him (not that he realises this) however he is not the type to guy who gives up easy, so he starts to try to break down Edans walls, his spiteful ex does not help matters.
Kasey has a few good twists and turns in this book, also there other characters that you are introduced to that makes you want to know about them.
A really great read I highly recommend it.
I had to give 5/5 I could not fault it in any way
