The "Cowboy Bebop" manga volumes have been written as brand new adventures for Spike, Jet, Faye, Ed and Ein. The stories themselves have not been given a specific time frame, therefore can be enjoyed without watching the anime series.

All the stories in this volume, in my opinion at least, are just as good as the ones in both of the other volumes of the series. The stories in this book have been balanced well - ranging from two longer stories and one or two shorter tales (including an almost exclusively Ed short story, which may be an incentive or deterrent to fans of the animated series depending on if you liked or despised Ed), each revolving around either individuals in the series or the entire crew of "The Bebop", some catering for people seeking laughs, some for more people seeking serious story-lines.

From an artwork perspective the pictures have been drawn wonderfully - with not to cramped pictures and a sort of easy to read nature to them. Each page has enough detail to make for a good amount of re-reading too! In addition to wonderful artwork, and on a similar note, the use of right-to-left format of reading makes the book an interesting method of reading manga - though people familiar with other Tokyopop titles will already recognize this style. In fact reading right-to-left makes for a more interesting time in a way!

All in all this volume is another great volume of the "Cowboy Bebop" series and can be read by people who have not seen the series yet, or fans of the original TV series and both can enjoy this book thoroughly! Having not seen the series myself yet and read the three book manga series - I would recommend this volume to anyone who likes humour as well as action!
