If you are a Lissie fan then you'll probably enjoy this - it is an EP of cover songs by Lissie. I bought this for my wife as she was a big fan of Lissie's cover of Go Your Own Way - disappointingly this isn't actually on the EP. I thought the quality of the recording was fine, it has a good raw rock sound. Beware of some explicit language in the recording - especially if you're buying it as a gift as I was - there was no warning from reading the item description on Amazon.

Do not buy this if you have seen the twinning ad and whant the track Go your own way, as it is not included on the C.D. You need to get the MP3 download. Good version of The ship song, but recording not top quality on all tracks.

As a couple of previous customer reviews have complained about what's NOT on the CD and Amazon haven't provided a track list, I thought I'd better check what IS on the CD.

This listing is for the imported US version of the EP. The UK version also includes Fleetwood Mac's "Go Your Own Way", and is also available on Amazon (but at a slightly higher price at time of writing) [...] (may need to copy/paste)

BUYER BEWARE!! ~ IF YOU THOUGHT THAT YOU WOULD GET HER VERSION OF "GO YOUR OWN WAY" THEN FORGET IT!! ~ IT DOES NOT FEATURE ON THIS CD, ALTHOUGH I AM SURE THAT I HAVE SEEN IT ADVERTISED SOMEWHERE AS BEING ON THE CD ~ VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED, AND ALTHOUGH IT IS NOT WORTH COMPLAINING TO EITHER AMAZON OR THE VENDOR, I FEEL SLIGHTLY "CONNED"

What can one say about LISSIE that is not good, she came up the hard way from the bottom and well deserves is her massive following she and here equally great band have no limits, folk, blues and rock they can do it all with ease I for one have all of the EP,s and the wonderful first album and cannot wait for here next one, so do yourself a favour listen then buy or just buy !!!

Having herd the advert with the Fleetwood Mac cover, I used Shazam on my mobile phone to find out who it was, it said it was Lissie and the album was Covered Up With Flowers. Well it was wrong, after waiting for about three weeks it finally arrived but didn't contain the track I wanted (its the last time I'll ever believe what Shazam says, I was looking forward to it) Its a shame MP3s sound so flat and thin or I could get it on that format, but for me and the equipment I use only lossless formats are worth listening to.
