Fantastically useful,

This book is fantastic if you have the perfect dress in mind, but can't find the perfect pattern for your needs. It gives clear instructions on how to alter a pattern block to produce all the designs you could want. I thought designing my own dress would be difficult, but this book shows you that there are a few simple rules to learn and once you have those, you can create just about anything. I definitely recommend this book. The only place that I would say it falls down is that some of the written explanations are unclear, but usually the diagrams make up for it.

Really impressed with the whole sale. It arrived earlier than promised which was great; also due to the description of it being "ex-library", I expected a lot more wear and tear so I was pleased to find it almost new - just softened corners. Not to mention the book itself is really good, diagrams and instructions are clear and quite a range of content.
