An unusual combination of a classical and clear 'folk' voice, and the unique 'Guinness over gravel' tones of the much missed Ronnie Drew. It works, as do Ronnie's other post-Dubliner collaborations, and the "Restless Farewell/Parting Glass" track is nothing short of beautiful. Different, and not all the tracks reach the quality of the one mentioned, but well worth a listen.

The title track is amazing but there are only two or three other tracks that I like. The contrast in their voices makes quite an impact though. There can never be another Ronnie Drew, I have always loved that voice.

This is an amazing CD. The incredible voices of these two artists blend together in a way that will make you want to listen over and over. We first heard of them while on a trip to Ireland and couldn't wait to get home to order our own copy. You will not be disappointed!
