Replaceable with a local phone book, 19 May 2008

I bought this as an aid for an upcoming trip to northern Wales. My wife and I eat many of our meals in local pubs as we travel about, so having a pub guide is almost a necessity.
What I found in this book was information that could have been gathered from a local phone book... listings of addresses and phone numbers and little more. About 5% of the listings have an expanded description that seems to have been written by the pub staff rather than the author.
It would be vastly improved if it contained some ratings on food and atmosphere as well as any cask ales that were available. As it is, I didn't even bother to take this book on my trip.
