Of all the albums I own - this one has to be my favourite. All the songs are excellent with a good rhythm and vibe. Nelly is just telling it like it is - and this reflects in the lyrics in all his songs. He is trying to get St Louis recognised, and with an album as good as this he shouldn't have any problem. I find this album easier to listen to than other rap/hip hop CDs - and every track is individual. My personal favourite is E.I - but all the rest are just as good. infact it was hard to choose just one favourite. So if you want to listen to some decent music - choose this album!

I think that this album is fantastic! It isn't as hardcore as some other hip hop artists such as Dr Dre or Snoop Dogg but it has a more jazzy feel to it! My favourite track is "Batter up"! If you liked E.I and ride wit me then you are bound to like all the other tracks. Nelly has a style of his own that no other rap artist has, I look forward to his next album! Buy it now!!!!!

This is a brilliant album of bad tunes with stylish rapping from Nelly. I didn't think it was that good when I first started listening to it but it seems to get better every time I do! A must for any rap fan!
Check out 'batter up'

I've read the reviews from people who really like nelly, and some people who don't - i think as long as you don't take this too seriously you'll love it. i bought this album as a result of loving country grammar, e.i, ride wit me and batter up, and as i'm listening to it now, i'm not disappointed!! it's got a great rhythm throughout and it's a perfect album for chillin out. buy it!!!

Being a lover of West Coast rap I did not know if this album would be any good and boy was I surprised. Nelly puts the South on the map for Real. Nelly's lyrics are smooth and da beats are funky.

This album looked pretty sweet, with songs such as Ride Wit Me, Country Grammar and E.I, How Wrong I was, Those 3 are the best songs, but even E.I and Country Grammar suck and Ride Wit Me is OK, all the other songs on this album were rushed and lyrically is the worse i've heard from a "so called Rapper". There is no way this guy is a rapper, he is definately in the RnB category and not very good at that either. This album is so BAD I traded it in the day i bought for a true rap album 2pac - Striclty 4 My Niggaz (get that album), so my advice is don't you dare waste your money on this...

If you are a pure hip hop fan do not buy this CD, this CD is more R'N'B than hip hop, if you like people like M.O.P, Redman, DMX stay away from this album because if you are used to the above artists you will be dissapointed with this. On the other hand if you are an R'N'B fan you might see this CD as a good buy, it is slightly more hardcore than R'N'B but no way pure hip hop. R'N'B fans, yes this CD is good, Hip Hop fans, no this CD is wack.
