The C.600.4 - the base model from Cougar's popular C-Series - delivers up to 2000 watts MAX output using modern MOSFET technology, well-matched components and a special anti vibration enclosure.

sound is much better than stock cd player and better than my previous cars head unit, but would say the quoted power is rubbish. im using front midrange and tweeters on high pass mode (8ohm) and 2 10" bass drivers on low pass mode (8 ohm) each has its own channel and would say it has no more than 30-40 watts RMS.
runs warm, but not hot. small enough to fit under passenger seat in my car (nissan almera). only draws 30 amps so should be fine in most cars with stock battery and alternator. one bit of advice to anyone buying this is to run high pass filters for youre midrange to cut some of the bass off them or they will distort and dont even touch the bass boost switch- yes it adds more kick but distorts all the upper bass so unless youre happy with your woofer only doing the very low notes and other speakers straining to do mid bass itll ruin the sound. doesnt have much static but does make bump sound when turned on. would recomend to anyone looking for reasonable sound to improve stock system however if you want crystal clear sound keep looking and if you want masses of bass keep looking unless youre willing to have distortion too.
one final note is when i first wired it in i thought i could use the stock tweeters in the cars pillars, you cant! they just dont work efficiently enough or possibly this thing doesnt give enough treble out, so get some crossovers and aftermarket tweeters with this amp.
