Currently halfway along the Cotswold Way and this book has been very useful. Acccurate, good scale, clear and basically simple to use. Only occasion when we needed to resort to os map/gps was when lost in the woods above Coopers Hill where numerous paths criss cross and signing is poor.

We are walking one day a month and the book is spot on for suggested distances stops etc.
Contains very good natural history section which is an easy on the move relavant reference

I used this guide to walk the Cotswolds way in August 2010. I found the guide very useful as preparation to locate lunch stops, places to see and eat and also to get a bit of history and interest for each passing village or hamlet. This is a well signposted way and you could manage with this guide and a decent map. However, if you want to explore more would recommend also either an OS map and/or an OS based guide as the mapping in this book is basic.

The information on surroundings to the Cotswold Way is good however the description of the actual walk is very disappointing and of very litle use when actually out on the path!
