OK for the price 6 Feb 2011
Can't complain much given the very low price, but it was a nuisance to set up.

It installed fine on our XP desktop, but kept dropping & reconnecting to the home WLAN. Setting to Windows "zero config" mode stopped that, until Windows was restarted... then it happened again, but this time the "zero config" option was missing! On further investigation, the Windows "zero config" service was set to automatic but failing to start on startup... removing the proprietary management software from the programs to run at startup solved that, since then it's worked fine.

Delivery took a while but strongly suspect that's due to Royal Mail's post-snowfall backlog, not the vendor

Great bit of kit 23 Mar 2011
By RichieC
I bought this for my father-in-law's old laptop, was nice and easy to set-up and due to the size doesn't get in the way - you hardly notice it!

Been in constant use for about 4 days now and has hardly dropped any packets.

The only gripe would be for less technical users - they may have a slight problem configuring the security keys in-line with the wireless router, just remember to map your encryption protocol with that of your hub or you will not be up and running. FYI this isn't mentioned in the instructions that come with it - not so much 'plug & play' as specified.

All in all though a great piece of kit and would consider buying again for other old machines lying around.

Brilliant 5 Dec 2010
A really Brilliant bit of kit and very cheap for what it does.Mainly for use on older PC's and old Laptops that don't have built in wifi capabilities.I am hoping to get it to work on my Bluray Player without having to use a cable from the Router.Thoroughly Recommend.
