When wolfmother broke up last year I thought all was lost, but I was overjoyed when i heard they had reformed :) The new album is amazing in several ways: Firstly, the return of the catchy riffages we all grew to love from the first album, the soaring vocals from andrew stockdale (Robert Plant/ Ozzy Osbourne esque.), and the loud prominent bass lines. I really enjoyed Cosmic Egg, with Caroline being my top track. It is a must have album for all wolfmother fans and people who just want to have a hard rocking album. 5 stars all round :) Buy it! You wont regret it.

This is a very lively 'Prog Rock' style album, with the possible sound influences of Led Zeppelin and The White Stripes both mixed in a Magical cauldron.
Continuing on from the previous Debut 'Wolfmother' and still packs as much punch.
My three favourite tracks has to be - Pilgrim, New Moon Rising and 10,000 Feet.
A great way to 'Kick Start' the new year!

Isn't it fun going back in time? Wolfmother makes sure it is!
They sure wear their influences on their sleeves.
Mostly I hear the voice of Ozzy backed by Uriah Heep.
Seriously, it's not unexpected anymore like their previous effort but excellently executed.
I'm lovin' it because it's fun!
