My daughter is 3 and a half months old, weighs 13lb and is very active now. We already have a more expensive rocker chair for downstairs, and I felt we needed a second chair upstairs for when I'm in the shower, etc, hence buying the snoozi bouncer. It is a gorgeous looking chair and I knew that John Lewis stocked it so was reassured it wouldn't be terrible quality. I don't even think it looks cheap once it's put together.
I found it easy and straightforward to put together- it is very basic, but the price reflects that, and I wanted something simple anyway, as a second chair. My daughter sits comfortably in it and enjoys grabbing the cat and bear- trying to put them in her mouth! The bar is handy for hanging other toys on, and there is room on the chair, either side of her, to put rattles etc, for her to grab too! The toy bar has only popped off when I'm lifting her out of the chair, otherwise it seems sturdy enough, and it's padded so there's no risk of it hurting her.
Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. I don't like the vibrating chairs, as they can't be very comfortable, so the fact that my daughter is gradually learning to make the chair bounce herself is a fun way of learning cause and effect!
