Cory Doctrow is a master..
I have not yet read a piece of his writing that has not been great. Seldom does a writer hit it spot on like this fellow can.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Sci-Fi crossover from Print to Graphic Novel 24 Mar 2010

An impressive set of stories - what makes this collection stand out is the introduction of every story by Cory, as well as his first-person history of what he went through in getting this published. (hint: it wasn't his idea)

Highly recommended for those who enjoy Sci-Fi short stories with an extra dose of graphics to really put you in the moment.
5.0 out of 5 stars WOW!! :-) 6 May 2014

I had just read all 6 of these short stories written by Cory Doctorow solely in their typed format when this graphic novel arrived in the mail. With his permission, other writers have successfully adapted each of these stories into more summarized versions that better suit the comic book structure. They've done so without missing any of the basic plots, or any of the stories' deeply ironic main points. Each story has then been well-illustrated by various artists. That's completed a total of 6 comic books put together into one graphic novel. And you know, I enjoyed the comic book format of those stories WAY MORE than I'd enjoyed just reading them...and I'd loved them to begin with!

Thank you much, Cory Doctorow, for allowing this! And for your interviews with the graphic novel's editor, Tom Waltz, which follow each story and explain what the heck you were thinking when you came up with its plot. The 6 stories are: Anda's Game, When Sysadmins Ruled the Earth, Craphound, Nimby and the D-Hoppers, I,Robot, and After the Siege. No, they have nothing to do with one another; each story is a complete piece all by itself.

What a treasure! :-) .
