Just to let you all know, these are not just for i7.
It's for both AMD and Intel. I have these running in my AMD system and they superb.

Small review
1333MHz, can OC but not recommending it.
Incredbily fast access rate.
4GB ganged

Would recommend them, they're worth the money.

Problems 30 Nov 2010
After completing a build, the last thing I wanted was a hardware failure, but that is what I got!

Process of illimination resulted in my establishing that one of the simms had failed after just two weeks of use.

Whilst such things do happen, this was particularly annoying as I depend on my PC. Having built a number of machines over the years I had taken full anti-static measures when installing.

In the event, Amazon exchanged the memory for new ones that are now installed and working ok. I just hope that they continue to do so.

I notice that Corsair have brought out a new 1333mhz simm.

Great upgrade RAM 19 Nov 2008
By J. J. Marino - Published on Amazon.com
When I built my desktop the most RAM I could afford was 2GB of DDR3. While this was adequate I soon realized that I would need more soon! So I purchased this set from Corsair. It is 3 seperate 1333 MHZ 240 Pin chips. They come with a metal covering and not really a heat sink per se.
Overall I love having 6GB of RAM now, Less swapping during game play and the boot up time has been reduced noticably.

I purchased this the day it came available. I see that now it may be difficult to find these. Grab these when they become available again.

Here are the specs so you dont have to dig around the web to find them:

This is for a system that uses Intel Core i7 processor:

Brand CORSAIR
Series XMS3
Model TR3X6G1333C9
Type 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM

Tech Spec
Capacity 6GB (3 x 2GB)
Speed DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)
Cas Latency 9
Timing 9-9-9-24
Voltage 1.5V
Multi-channel Kit Triple Channel Kit
Heat Spreader Yes
Features Compatible with Intel Core i7 series CPU

Corsair TR3X6G1333C9 XMS3 on DELL 435MT i7 30 April 2009
By F. Lewis - Published on Amazon.com
Amazon Verified Purchase
I have been running a Dell 435MT with 4GB (stock) DDR3 memory. (Note that the Dell 4x1GB config does NOT allow for triple-channel mode.)
Running Windows 7 x64 Beta 24x7; NLE video editing, digital photo management, web development, (always) playing music, and easing my way into x64 programming.

Last week I decided to jump the gun and purchased this 3x2GB pack.
Naturally, it meant that one of the 1GB stock strips had to go. Now running a triple-channel configuration of 3x(2+1GB) = 9GB. The machine flies doing ANYTHING you throw at it. Later I will run vBox virtual machines for testing and development purposes, and the amount of memory will come in handy.
Probably will perform some benchmarks later on.

I mainly decided to write this (my first) review, to inform that
1) the items perform up to expectations.
2) they are surely compatible with the Dell Studio 435MT.
3) give an indication of usage patterns where the memory comes in handy.

Cheers.

Perfect for a new i7 system 21 Dec 2008
By Nathan Beauchamp - Published on Amazon.com
I got this when upgrading to an i7 system, and it works fantastic. It's a little odd thinking of buying ram in sets of threes instead of twos, but that's the way things are going to be now that we're in the era of DDR3.

I'm pretty loyal to Corsair ram. I've used it (along with PNY for non gaming systems) for many years, and it's always been extremely reliable. The DDR2 XMS ram I had in my previous system was very easy to overclock. I expect this set to overclock well also.

It's fantastic that DDR3 ram has dropped in cost so much that it makes it really doable to have 6gbs in your system. Combine this kit with Vista 64-bit and you've got a winning combination.

The speed of this ram is fantastic. The timings seem loose if you're used to DDR2 ram, but that's really an illusion. I've not really overclocked the ram, but I plan to in the future.

Over all, for south of $200 this is a fantastic deal.
